When Night on Earth has ended
and darkness left the sky,
God will then remember
He'll remember you and I.
He'll remember how we sat
near the apple tree
the love I gave to you
the trust you gave to me.
So rest awhile my darling.
Sleep among the stars.
Till the break of Day
when Morning will be ours.
Rest awhile my loved one,
safely through the Night.
I'll see you in the Morning
at the Dawn's first light.
