The days so cold and short;
night seems to last so long.
How I long to hear the end
of December's mourning song.

But winter's not forever;
and neither is the Night.
Soon will come the Morning,
soon will some the Light.

Till then I have the hope
of seeing you again;
to get me through sad winter's song,
my forever friend.
